Bizzmakr Refund Policy

1. Introduction

At Bizzmakr, we strive to ensure a seamless experience for all users, including both freelancers and seeking freelancers. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, requiring users to request a refund. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds are granted, the process for requesting a refund, and any applicable fees or restrictions.

By using Bizzmakr, you agree to this Refund Policy, which is designed to protect the rights of both service providers and clients while maintaining platform integrity.

2. Eligibility for Refund

Refunds are only granted under the following conditions:

Time Limit:Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days from the date of placing the order for a service.

Service Charge Deduction: If a refund is approved, Bizzmakr will deduct the applicable service charge before processing the refund.

Order Status:Refunds are only applicable if the order is not completed or no substantial work has been delivered by the freelancer

Client (Seeking Freelancer) Initiated Refunds:The refund request must be initiated by the seeking freelancer through the platform.

Escrow Protection:If funds are held in escrow and no milestones have been released, the refund may be granted after review.

Non-Refundable Cases:

  • Refund requests made after 7 days from the order date.
  • If a freelancer has already delivered work and the client has approved it.
  • If the order has been marked as completed.
  • Disputes where the freelancer has already invested time and effort into the project.
  • Refunds for services where custom work, consultation, or non-reversible actions have taken place.
  • Payments made outside the Bizzmakr platform (violating platform policies).

3. Refund Process

To request a refund, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Workstation→ Navigate to the "My Orders" section on your dashboard.
  2. Select the Order→ Find the service you want a refund for.
  3. Initiate a Refund Request→ Click on three dots and select cancel order.
  4. Review Process→ Our team will review your request and may contact both parties for verification.
  5. Refund Decision→ A decision will be communicated within 5 business days.
  6. Processing Time → If approved, the refund will be processed within 7-10 business days (depending on the payment method used).

🚨 Note: If a dispute arises, Bizzmakr's mediation team will evaluate the situation before making a final decision.

4. Refund Methods & Processing Time

Refunds are processed using the original payment method used during the transaction. Expected refund timelines:

5. Dispute Resolution

If a freelancer disagrees with a refund request, they may file a dispute within 3 days of the refund initiation. Bizzmakr’s mediation team will:

  • Review communication and project details between both parties.
  • Assess whether work was delivered and approved.
  • Determine if the refund request complies with Bizzmakr’s policies.
  • Make a final decision, which is binding for both parties.

6. Platform Fees & Deductions

If a refund is approved, Bizzmakr will deduct:

  • Service Charge: A platform fee is deducted to cover administrative and processing costs.
  • Transaction Fees: Any third-party payment gateway fees may also apply.
  • Penalty Fees: If fraudulent refund requests are identified, an account penalty may be imposed.

💡 Tip: Ensure you communicate with freelancers before requesting a refund to resolve concerns amicably.

7. Special Cases & Exceptions

Refunds may be issued outside the standard policy in the following cases:

  • Fraudulent activity: If an account is found engaging in fraud, refunds may be denied or delayed.
